I came home from the shop to find two copies of a book in the mail. I recognized my name on the cover, but not the language. As it turns out, Tarot and Astrology is now available in Vietnamese! That means my books have been translated into SEVENTEEN other languages. That’s so cool!
I never know when these things are happening. My publisher sells the rights to other publishers around the world, and those publishers handle the translations and the printing. Then I get two copies of the finished books in the mail — surprise! — and a modest one-time bump in my next royalty check. It’s all part of the publishing experience, and honestly, it’s just kind of fun to see my work in other languages.
